MUSKAAN is a Vocational Training and Work Centre for the Intellectually Challenged Children. It is a parent association working for the welfare of the mentally challenged children by giving them Vocational training and improving their confidence levels for interacting with others in their day to day life. MUSKAAN first started with 2 or 3 students in the Garages in Kalkaji and after sometime they shifted in the place in Hauz Khas. After some years increased the number of the students upto 10 to 15. Then they done the work their for some time. But today they are in Vasant Kunj New Delhi.We have around 150 students.
They opened the different units like Computer Centre, Recreational Centre, Art Centre, Box Unit, Candle Unit,Masala Unit, Diya Unit, Stationery Unit, Bakery Unit, Flower Unit. Children work in these units by themselves. When they need help from support team of MUSKAAN it is there with them. Each unit has one or two teachers in the Unit to guide and help the children.
COMPUTER CENTRE
The computer centre is opened recently for the children of MUSKAAN. They have around 11 computers in the computer centre. The computer centre has only one teacher to take a class for the different students in different timing. Children come and work on those computer project which is allotted to them.
ART CENTRE
The art centre is opened early for the children of MUSKAAN. They teach the children a different kind of art like making a painting and making Coaster and Rangoli Lamp.
BOX UNIT
The box unit is making boxes for candles or diyas some are small in the size others are big in the size. Children make the boxes with the teacher's help.
CANDLE UNIT
The candle unit is making candles for the diwali time. Children come and work in that unit and making around one hundred or more then that at a time in a one go.
MASALA UNIT
The masala unit is making different kind of masalas for others persons or our self. The children make masala by themself with the teacher's help.
DIYA UNIT
Diya unit is making different style of diyas which they tech children to make it by themself and help of the teacher.
STATIONERY UNIT
Children make different types of products in the stationery unit by their own and also by the help of the teacher. Some of the examples of items made here are book mark, pad, file, gift bag, wine bag, wapping paper. Around 26 to 30 different items are made here. They are very good to see or use them.
BAKERY UNIT
The bakery unit is making different types of food items like Badam cookies, Chocochip cookies, Cake etc. The children make these item with the teacher help.
FLOWER UNIT
The flower unit are making different kind of colours. Children are making colours with help of the teacher
RECREATIONAL CENTRE
The Recreational Centre has a different kind of games and they make wallhanging also
Different Kind of things are made by the people who need work or learn the kind of

Then they buy them from us. If they need more they will order us and tell us. When their need the things in this much time. We try to complete the order in that much time given to us. we work as a team and during Diwali time MUSKAAN put the Diwali bazaar in the work place that time we have to work as a sale man or sale woman in the different counter. MUSKAAN team is working with kind of people having different problem in their life's and helping in their day to day work.
